i love the days where surprise emails hit my inbox with links where i've recently been published for previous client work. this past january was no exception as i read the words "martha stewart weddings" and my heart skipped a beat. a client's wedding that i had done some work for was chosen to be featured!

styled shoots are so much fun! lots of creative freedom + a little bit of room to experiment because you're usually only making 1 or 2 of them for the final purpose.

thanksgiving. turkey + cooking + entertaining = madness. or usually, so it seems.
but it doesn't have to.
in the hopes of keeping things simple and beautiful, i put together a table using natural elements found in my local grocery store, like unshelled nuts, cranberries and apples.
i hand-lettered things i am grateful for on the runner beneath the dishes. guests can add to the list as well as gain inspiration for the gratitude boxes at each place setting.
madness doesn't have to ensue this holiday. just use what you have on hand and keep the essence of the holiday the main thing. enjoy and happy thanksgiving!
although it may not appear like it, things are still moving along with the shops. i am mostly focusing on custom orders right now and summer wedding season is about to come to a close. new things are being dreamed of and developed, so stay tuned for a few more updates in late august. i’m excited about what is to come.
a recent project will soon be listed in the shop. a client asked me to letter a prayer that was read during their wedding ceremony. i loved the idea and thought others might want something similar created. i love the uniqueness custom projects have to offer. no one else will have anything just like this because it is personally sentimental to my client and her husband. hope you enjoy!
